Kolo Muani Completes Medical with Juventus

Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani underwent a medical examination with Juventus on Thursday, paving the way for a potential move in the upcoming winter transfer window.

The French striker’s departure from PSG appears to be a matter of time, according to multiple reports. Kolo Muani arrived in Turin on Wednesday evening, and if he successfully passes the medical, he will join Juventus on a six-month loan deal without an option to buy, as per the report.

Loan Details

Juventus will cover Kolo Muani’s full salary during his loan spell. While the initial agreement is for a short-term loan, there is speculation that the former Eintracht Frankfurt striker could remain with the Italian club beyond the six months.

Interest from Other Clubs

Recent reports from L’Équipe indicated that Tottenham Hotspur had expressed interest in signing Kolo Muani. However, Juventus now seems to be leading the race for his signature.

Additionally, Aston Villa has reportedly joined the list of Premier League, Bundesliga, and Serie A clubs interested in the player. Tottenham and Manchester United have been linked with the French forward, while AC Milan, RB Leipzig, and Bayern Munich are also reportedly monitoring his situation.

PSG’s Stance on the Transfer

PSG is reportedly open to letting Kolo Muani leave for €60 million, but the club is also willing to consider a loan with a mandatory purchase clause. Reports suggest that PSG manager Luis Enrique does not see Kolo Muani as part of his plans moving forward.

Kolo Muani’s Background

The 26-year-old joined PSG in the summer of 2023 from Eintracht Frankfurt for a fee of €95 million. His contract with the Parisian club runs until the summer of 2028. At the time of his transfer, Enrique had just been appointed as PSG’s manager and had reportedly approved the signing.

This season, Kolo Muani has made 14 appearances, scoring two goals and providing one assist. However, he has been excluded from PSG’s squad for their last three matches against Lyon, Monaco, and Lens.

What’s Next?

If the loan deal with Juventus is finalized, Kolo Muani will have an opportunity to rejuvenate his career in Serie A and prove his value ahead of a potential permanent transfer.
